Designed to be a Junior or Senior course, advance PE moves beyond the general TN Health standards to more advanced skills such as life-saving methods, training rituals, group organized physical activities, and self and peer evaluations.
In this course, you will learn about what it means to be healthy as well as how to stay healthy. You will learn about different diseases such as cardiovascular disease. If it is a part of your body and keeps you healthy (or unhealthy), you will learn about it in Wellness. You will have weekly discussions on your opinions on health topics going on in today's society, and you will also learn how to eat right for a balanced diet!
This course is designed to be a Freshman level course.
